Game is not detected when launched directly.
Hello!
Does anyone knows how to make Steam see the game when it's launched from the game directory directly?
Before I reinstalled my windows, this wasn't a problem but now no matter which game I try, Steam simply doesn't detect it unless I launch from Steam.

This happens because you didn't register Steam in auto-start on boot, which is done by default if you installed Steam the normal way.

Steam can only detect games being started directly if Steam is already started.

You can restore this setting via Steam -> Settings -> Interface -> Run Steam when my computer starts.

If this setting is already on (slider is blue), click it off, then on again.
Steam starts with the Windows. So that won't be it.
I'm looking at the game in Steam Library, launch the game from directory, the status doesn't change. When Steam should show "Stop", it still shows "Play". And of course, if I hit the Play button, it will open another instance.
Also, before reinstalling Windows, I could rename any game folder, start the game from the directory and Steam would detect it without any problems.

And before reinstalling windows, Steam installed games in native language folders but now every title is in English.
