A friend of mine needs help! (Steam account hacked)

Hi, my own account is okay, but a friend of mine is in trouble.

His account seemed to be compromised by another user.
He did get a new password from someone who he thought would be a member of Steam support and as soon as he did log out and try to log in with his "new password", his account was gone.

Of course, the email adress and the password has been changed by unknown.

Is there any possibility to reach the Steam support by Email or (even better) by a telephone number? He is located in Germany, but speaks english.

Any other advices?
Help would be appreciated.

Your account was not "hacked", it was phished. Accounts are never hacked. You likely gave up your account information somewhere and/or downloaded malicious software. You should stop visiting those obvious scam sites and secure all your accounts and your devices.

Account security is your responsibility at all times.

Thanks! I did send him screenshots of your guide to look through.

They can look at the guide without having been logged in. They can access it just as easily as you. No need for screenshots. Just send them the link.
