Bought and paid a game on steam but steam does not see the payment.
Two days ago I bought a game on steam and paid for it via online banking. The payment was processed and the total amount was withdraw for my bank account. After the payment I went back to steam app but the app was buffering and the game was not added to my library. I checked with my bank and the payment was done and the money delivered to the merchant (Steam). i contacted the Steam assistance via help and they told me to wait 48 h - the payment was direct so i wonder why i had to wait. After 48 hours no news from steam assistance while the bank and the payment provider has proof the the payment was done and steam got the money. It is clear that Steam has no control over the situation - anyone here had the same experience and a part to report the case to the antifraud department of the bank is there another solution? thank you

You can also check store page and support add game to my library, we have seen steam users before have to do that, like a re rewgistation of product might have been removed by users maybe.

why i say this, because i had never had a issue with added to library then bought, but who know if such error can happend with a product.

And we have no clue in what your bank say or not check transfer status, ( bank and creditcard company is not open in weekend ) you could have a pendng transaction hanging untill monday morninge then they open again.

So you see there is alot of users issue here, and steam user keep doing them.

ps. ( many forget such is possible )
Do not have negative saldo, bank and credit company has every right to cancel a transaction you dont have the means to do them.

The bank confirmed the transaction is ok and paid to Steam - i double checked with them during a phone call. I also sent all the proofs of payment to Steam assistance - transaction number, total amount, time etc but the Steam assistance requests more proofs - I gave them bank statement, transaction number etc etc. it seems they want to keep the money for nothing....I mean it is a bug in their system and assistance staff has no competences or instruments to check. IMHO I understand it is a bug in their payment platform but it is a serious issue since they have no control on the situation.
Just to clear out the obvious, did you purchase it on the correct account and furthermore did you purchase on steam or is this a 3rd party key? The part you mentioned about waiting almost seems like a shady key purchase and they are stalling for time.

You can enter own staus online and check own transactions, you dont need to call anyone, they all have online support as fare as i know.


We as users here can only point at diffrent senario's with why it go bad or wrong.

If this is not via steam own site then i will not trust 2 cent in what they say.

You can find many post with games bought on other site go so wrong.

I bought on steam official website using steam payment service offered by them. No trace on history. they just told me that something was wrong and to pay again for the same item and they will keep the same price for 72 hours.

It is silly since they are requesting a picture of the purchase and everything was done by their platform. Same I have to help the assistance to help me 😁

Online banking is integrated in steam payment service. With approved bank etc.and it is more user friendly then cards or PayPal. The payment was done immediately nothing is pending , apart that I did a purchase and steam did not give me what I bought but requested to pay again.

Your last purchase was September the 4th which means the current one failed.

The purchase was done but steam just buffered, as said I think it is a bug. When the client buffered maybe the information of payment was not sent to the client. Not my fault if they have bugged software.
