How do I report moderation misconduct?

Is there a way to report 2 moderators for a wrongful banning? I am currently serving a 3 day ban from a game forum(which will likely be over before anything on this front is finished), but this time around I am kind of pissed. They refuse to state why I was banned and the only reason I can see in the guidelines is because the post was 7 years old.

However, and this is important, I wasn't the one who necro'd it and I told the moderators that in my reply. However their only response was the copy/paste "We have already assisted you in this ticket with all information and as no other info can be give we are closing this ticket" every time I try to contact Steam support. Its the same 2 mods.

My post was literally one word, P**n. I don't want to re-post it here cause apparently it is against Steam guidelines, even though it is not listed to be against it; nor is it censored by their automated censoring script. I have pictures of the whole conversations.

If it was issued by a game hub moderator, best you can do is contact the game's developer/publisher on the matter as they are in charge of their moderators.

If it was a Valve moderator, you follow the link provided in the ban message to submit a support ticket and contest the ban.

If you already contacted them and got a reply, then that was the answer. Continuing to message them on the matter may only lead to further action against the account.

Definitely the latter since it was Steam Support moderation.

You need someone to spell out that one word responses like that are typically seen as spam?

Necro and spamming and obvious trolling and insulting users, and you're wondering why you got banned?

I didn't even get below the fold before I saw multiple reasons for your ban

You do realize your post history is public. Right?

Plus you already admitted to necro, and posting an offensive one word post that you had to edit and obfuscate on purpose because YOU KNEW IT WAS OFFENSIVE HERE and would catch the word filters

But somehow you have interpreted this as 'the moderators are wrong'
