In terms of showing games, yes.
I'm looking through categories of games by type, i scroll all the way down to see new and recent releases, the only tabs they have now is "Popular Upcoming" and "Upcoming"
It used to have "New and popular releases", "Recent Releases", "Top Rated", and i'm positive there was one more that i cannot remember off the top of my head, alongside only "Upcoming".
Steam has clearly buggered something up somewhere and has ruined (to a degree) the store pages.
Some friends think its Cloudflare messing up, which effects many online markets/platforms, but i cannot confirm that.
Same problem here, it also occurs for me, when using the store in firefox. When browsing the store in Chrome, everythings fine.
Edit: Now its also horrible slow in chrome
It started for me since the hardware announcement...
Half of the day it takes ages to load a store page. The pictures/videos take about 10 seconds to load. I tried everything, DNS servers are not the problem. Almost every other homepage is very fast in loading. (1Gbit connection; location:Central Europe)
Now everything is fine at the moment (11:00h MEZ, 6.12.25) mostly in the afternoon and evening the loading is very slow.
Firefox, Edge and the steam client is insanely slow at loading. Sometimes the Google Chrome Browser is faster, but not always. (i cleared the cache before).
feel free to clear cache we have seen use have webhelper issue with to much data so pc get slow over time, there isa steam settings section with reduce steam usage of its resources also.
I am thinking of installing a newer beta steam client. Has somebody tried this?
I bet its so slow because they used AI and then deleted the prompt
