Isn't the Steam store page slow?
About a month ago, it started getting slow.
Games run fine without any issues.

The internet isn't slow, but the Steam store page is just too slow. It feels like I'm using a dial-up modem.

Does everyone else's store page load quickly and smoothly?

In terms of slowness, no.
In terms of showing games, yes.

I'm looking through categories of games by type, i scroll all the way down to see new and recent releases, the only tabs they have now is "Popular Upcoming" and "Upcoming"

It used to have "New and popular releases", "Recent Releases", "Top Rated", and i'm positive there was one more that i cannot remember off the top of my head, alongside only "Upcoming".

Steam has clearly buggered something up somewhere and has ruined (to a degree) the store pages.

Some friends think its Cloudflare messing up, which effects many online markets/platforms, but i cannot confirm that.
I'm having the same issue with the tabs as well.
This problem is serious for me, almost all pictures of store page takes ages to load. What is causing the slow loading?

It's slow for me also.

I think there is just hundreds of bots scanning the whole store for updates happening which results in a DDoS like situation... Just a opinion, idk if it is that way...
It started for me since the hardware announcement...

Since weeks it is a mess with the store page (community page too).
Half of the day it takes ages to load a store page. The pictures/videos take about 10 seconds to load. I tried everything, DNS servers are not the problem. Almost every other homepage is very fast in loading. (1Gbit connection; location:Central Europe)

Now everything is fine at the moment (11:00h MEZ, 6.12.25) mostly in the afternoon and evening the loading is very slow.
Firefox, Edge and the steam client is insanely slow at loading. Sometimes the Google Chrome Browser is faster, but not always. (i cleared the cache before).

It's not really possible to buy games in the steam store anymore since a few months, takes forever to open something up, so I have to go to third party stores instead

Today it's better, be it client or browser, yesterday it was awfully slow, images and videos took ages to load. It's enough to make you tear your hair out.

You sure its not a IGPU issue or turn off web accelration in browser view.

Now the steam store is nearly unusable. I almost wanted to buy a game on the steam page, but it is not loading. It takes minutes to load a game store page! My speedtest shows about 820 mbits down and 50 mbits up.

I am thinking of installing a newer beta steam client. Has somebody tried this?
