HELP Gift Ban with wallet money

Hello everyone in the community, greetings.
I have the following problem: I usually use the funds from my Steam Wallet to buy gifts for my partner and myself, money that generally comes from selling the weekly CS2 drops. Last week, I wanted to gift her a game, but by mistake I bought it for myself. I immediately requested a refund explaining the situation, and it was approved in less than 24 hours.
However, when I tried to buy the gift again, I couldn't complete the purchase. When I asked Support about the failed purchase, they told me that 'a ban has been applied to your account for sending gifts using your wallet funds', without giving me any explanation, and saying there was nothing they could do.
Is there anything I can do about this situation? I really use this feature a lot and it feels unfair to be banned for an innocent mistake. How can I appeal? Thank you very much everyone.

If support said they can't help you, what makes you believe we can?

For whatever reason using wallet funds to buy gifts is limited and strictly managed and a lot of people run into those restrictions and end up with wallet funds being restricted for gifting. It's one thing I'm not terribly clear about and Valve hasn't been terribly clear about the details as far as I know.

Steam puts restrictions on wallet funds to be used for gifting, usually when they suspect the account is being used for commercial activity. Through innocent people can find themselves caught up with this restriction on their account. Nobody knows the details of how often or how much gifting it takes to trigger this restriction, only steam know that info.

You could try asking to see if they will remove the restriction and if they do it will be a one time thing. When you trigger it again which is highly likely you will as you already triggered it once, steam will not remove it again. But seeing as you already asked and they said no then that is their final answer...

Your only option to gift people would be to use an external method of payment.

Honestly, they really need to rethink these restrictions when the two accounts have been friends for a very long period of time. I'm not talking days or even weeks, I mean at least a full year.

Valve already got rid of the 1 day trade hold for Steam friends for at least a year when one or both only has email guard.

I expect them to only tighten restrictions.
