Confirm via email doesn't work - can't purchase
When I try to buy trading cards I suddenly have to confirm it via mail, which hasn’t been the case before. But it doesn’t work. I open the mail, confirm the action by clicking Yes, which opens a steam page which says Thanks for the confirmation - but then nothing happens. When I go back to the steam client, I still get the Confirm via email to complete the purchase window, so I’m back at square one without any actual purchase being made. No idea what else I can do.

You should use the Steam Authenticator rather than relying on email based MFA

The confirmation doesn't work if you originally tried to purchase multiple cards at once.

Try to buy a single card on the market, then the confirmation should complete without issues.

After that, you should be able to buy multiple cards again without any issues.

Thanks for the tip, but that didn't work for me.

Satoru's tip worked though. That is, using Steam Guard/Authenticator. Great, now I can spend money on useless trade cards again. Wohooo!
