The reason you got "hacked" (which isn't possible, unless you leaked your data yourself) is because you're using that website. All 3rd party websites are "use at own risk" especially all those trading and gambling ones. If you log in there using your Steam credentials, they have your Steamlogin and can scam you whenever they want.
That is the opposite of “hacked”.
Your items weren't Trade Protected in 2017.
Logging into the fake site was how they phished you.
You giving that 3rd party website your login information you gave them the keys to enter your account. You allowed them in by giving them your keys so you wasn't hacked you allowed them in.
