Steam taking 5 minutes to launch + Steam Client WebHelper error on 7800X3D build (Win11 Home)
Hi all, hoping someone has an idea what’s going on.

I’m running a new build with:

Ryzen 7 7800X3D

DDR5 6000MHz EXPO

RTX 3060 Ti

Windows 11 Home

APU/iGPU already disabled in BIOS

The PC runs perfectly in every other scenario, but Steam is insanely slow to open on startup. When I click Steam right after booting, I usually get a Steam Client WebHelper error, and Steam won’t fully open until about 5 minutes later. After that, it works fine.

Launching games through Steam also feels unusually slow compared to everything else.

What I’ve tried already:

Reinstalling Steam

Updating NVIDIA + AMD chipset drivers

Disabling Fast Startup

Checking SSD health & free space

Disabling APU in BIOS

Restarting Steam with no browser cache

Nothing fixes it.

Anyone else experienced this on Windows 11? Is this a Steam/Win11 issue, EXPO related, or something with the Steam WebHelper processes? Any advice appreciated.
