Need old credit card account to get hold of my account..
Has anyone experienced this previously? I attempted to migrate my account to a new mobile, but I was prevented from doing so.
I contacted Steam Support for aid; however, they are unhelpful. They demanded I furnish credit card details that are already gone.
Now I have to keep hold of the old phone else I can't play my paid games. And now they said I can't verified I am the owner even though I holding the email account and old phone.

You must be able to provide sufficient security details in order to recover any account. If you can’t do what they requested, then you aren’t getting your account back.

Nobody here is from Steam support, so you won’t be able to get any support here.
Ah that sick. I gave whatever I have but they insisted on something that is gone. best security...

You don't need to have the card, just provide the details from it. Consider looking for old statements or other documentation that may have the number on it if you don't recall what it was.
I mean... if you have full control and access to your account how were you prevented from moving your authenticator?

If they're asking for proof of ownership, doesn't that normally happen as part of account recovery?

At any rate, if yiu need to prove ownership you have to meet their requirements to their satisfaction, not yours. Otherwise it gets easy to steal accounts by exploiting a weak verification system.
