The Game Profiles are a preset of profile options. If you select it, your profile will be set to whatever is contained within it. You can, then, go to the background settings and choose a different background, or choose a different avatar, and the rest of the Game Profile will remain, including the color changes to the showcases.

If you look at my profile, I'm using the Dying Light 2 game profile, but everything else has been changed to something different.
