Has anyone recovered a Steam account using only a game purchase receipt?
I’m trying to recover my Steam account, but I no longer have access to the original email address that was linked to it. Steam Support asked me for proof of ownership, but the only purchase connected to the account is a game I bought, and I still have the full invoice for it.

I’m not asking for account recovery here, just looking for advice or experiences from other users.

Has anyone successfully recovered their account by providing:

a game purchase invoice

purchase date

order ID

proof that the game was redeemed on the account

Steam Support says they need a verified purchase method or access to the old email, but I’m hoping someone who went through a similar situation can share what worked for them.

You don't need to have access to the original email address. You only need to provide them with what that address was.

They Not accepting In the form it was asked first email used on account as well as phone number i gave them the earliest of each i remember

Then you aren't remembering the correct one.

well they are only accepting scan of the gift card i used on my main id

i am not able to provide them with that code
