Recently my Xbox Elite Series 2 controller has started to misbehave on my PC. When I turn it on, the LED goes white as usual, but just as it’s about to switch to green (my chosen Steam Input color), the controller shuts itself off.

If I turn it on a second time, it always works normally. White LED → green LED → stays connected with no issues.

This looks like a problem that happens during the switch from the native Xbox driver to the Steam driver, so I’m going to start troubleshooting by disabling Steam Input. Before I do that: has anyone else seen this or found a solution?

I’d prefer to keep using the Steam driver and “Xbox Extended Feature Support” if possible. Turning it on twice isn’t a big deal, but it’s annoying enough that I’d like to fix it.
