WATCH DOGS 2 CD KEY PROBLEM

Hello, I purchased the game Watch Dogs 2 on 26.11.2025. When I enter the game, it asks me for my game's CD key. However, I cannot find the game's CD key on Steam, and I cannot enter the game without the CD key. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? And does anyone know how to solve this problem?

It's an Ubisoft game. You need to install or update the Ubisoft launcher. Ubisoft requires its launcher on most ubisoft games.

Ubisoft no longer provide CD keys anymore. You will need to uninstall the outdated launcher that Watch Dogs 2 had included, then install Ubisoft Connect from their official website.

I don't think the problem is with the ubisfot launcher. When I start the game from Steam, it logs directly into my ubisfot account. In the settings of my ubisfot account, my steam account and ubisfot account are linked, but when the game is opened, it asks for a CD key. This CD key should normally appear in the manage section of the Steam game, but it doesn't appear for me. What do you think? Is the problem with Steam or ubisfot?
