Can't edit Xbox elite controller buttons
No matter what I do, I cannot edit the face buttons or back buttons of the elite controller 2. I can't even turn them off in the system settings because it just turns it back on and undoes any changes I do for the controller mapping

I'm having the exact same issue with my DualSense Edge.

No matter what I do in Steam's controller settings, the changes just revert back whenever I switch screens. This happens with the desktop layout and even specifically within a game (Nightreign).

It's like the changes aren't actually being saved, so nothing I do seems to stick.
