I use a DualShock 4 to play most of my Steam Library and rely on Steam Input. I use it even for games that natively support DS4 because my controller is very old and has very bad drift on the analog sticks. I love that Steam input allows me to set custom deadzones for each stick, and even save them as the "controller preference." However, even after setting this preference, the deadzones don't work in every game with Steam Input enabled. I have to edit the layout for EVERY new game I open and set the deadzones to "controller preference" every time. It's incredibly tedious. Is there an option to enable my preferred deadzones for ALL games?
