I've been using steams clipping software for a long time now, had some issues initially but was smooth after that.
Now I have had the problem seem to pop up again, when I clip anything through steam it won't capture audio from my mic. I didn't make any changes to audio settings to cause the issue, I've made sure that the correct devices have been selected both in windows and in steam. I have the correct default devices set in windows too, I also unchecked the box to allow exclusive control of the audio device. I've gone through pretty much any trouble shooting step I can think of.
I should also mention that when I test the mic audio in steam it picks it up fine, its only in actual recordings that it won't get recorded.
I've tried changing from the beta branch and back a few times in steam with no luck. Would greatly appreciate any help.
