Steam family stuff help please
So I keep trying to add one of my mates to my steam family but it keeps popping up with this thing saying his activity on steam indicates that we aren't a part of the same household, what do I do?

This message appears because you two don't live in the same house, and that goes against the library sharing policies

One way to get around this, if your friend is truly a trusted friend, is to log into their account from your PC

Move in together.

Maybe read the help section about Steam Family. It's not a free for all. It's intended for people living in the same household, typically a family. The error you're seeing is a really big hint...
