help Steam Wallet
I wanted to buy something on the market, so I added funds to my Steam wallet, but it automatically gifted a game to someone I don’t know. Could I have been hacked?

My situation is completely different from what’s described there.
I made the purchase directly through Steam, I don’t share my account with anyone, and Steam Guard is properly set up with two-factor authentication. There’s also no login history showing any other access to my account.

Your account is compromised.

Do not trade until your account is secured.

Take the following steps to secure your account:

1. Scan for malware. If you don't have a malware scanner use https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices. https://psteamproxy.yuanyoumao.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a clean computer.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App. https://psteamproxy.yuanyoumao.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key (there should be no key). https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/dev/apikey

Stop using third-party sites for trading and gambling.

Never enter your Steam login details on a third-party site!

Yes, I’ve completed all the steps as instructed for now. It’s really unsettling to have something like this happen so suddenly.
