Help - Steam Next Fest

Hello,

I’ve been working on a pc/console game for a while now, and want to release the demo on Steam soon.

I want to submit my demo for the upcoming Steam Next Fest, but I’ve never published a Steam game before. So I need some advice.

Can someone please explain this process to me ?
So I create a new account on steamworks, than go through the process to create the page for the game…

Then what do I do? Is it smart to already upload the demo now? Or should I launch the demo during the steam next fest? Is it a problem if the demo was already online, before the next fest? Do I first have to upload the demo and after that can I submit it for the Next Fest?

Can anyone please give me some tips and guide me through the process?
