Duplicate key from Eneba
I bought a key from eneba (never had this issue before and I've used it a lot) and it was a duplicate, they told me to contact steam support but the only form of contact I can find is the email which automatically replied saying it is no longer monitored. All of the steam support routes about comercially bought keys say to contact them and ask for a refund, but they require me to email steam and ask for the original activation date of the code?? Does anyone have a solution to this issue?

Yes. Tell your credit card company that you did not receive the goods you bought and do a chargeback. Then stop buying stuff from black market websites.

Steam/Valve wont give you this information. If its already used it is not your Key/game so not your information.

Get your money back from the seller/site or do a chargeback and stop buying from grey sites.
All shop listed here get their keys from the devs/pubs https://isthereanydeal.com/

They told you this to toss you off.

They know full well Steam never, ever, ever provides this information.

You got scammed by a scam reseller

"But I used them before" is like saying "I dont know why the hobo behind the dumpster at BestBuy didn't give me the xbox series x. I always got games from him before"

These scam sites don't ALWAYS scam you.

Also, ever wondered where they get their keys from? Since they don't come from publishers they have to be stolen, or just sourced from some random guy. There is NO way to "test" a key, or get any information about what's actually in it.
getting a lot of replies that are just wrong lol, it was sorted out because I was given the info I needed by steam support. Please fact check before making baseless replies

Steam doesn’t provide this information. They won’t tell you who activated a key. You need to make up better lies if your going yo do so

He's not saying Steam Support told him who activated the key, but rather they told him the date/time it was activated.

And to back his claim:

In that thread you will see its OP mention they received the date/time a key was activated from Steam Support. The link actually goes to my post - it contains links to posts from another user who received the info from Steam Support, a link to a screenshot of Steam Support's reply, and a link to the post informing that user where to ask.

I think this forum exchange must be an advertisement for Eneba or something.

READ SLOWLY.
Steps:
1. Go to STEAM HELP PAGE. > Click on button "My account" > Click on button "Data Related To My Account" > Click on CONTACT SUPPORT.

2. Put in KEY, and ask WHEN NOT WHOM, WHEN the key was activated. BECAUSE STEAM WON'T tell you WHOM used it as that for PRIACY REASONS. Now if Steam won't assist you, ONLY OTHER people that can help you is the GAME DEV that MANAGE the keys which THEY have access to checking the history when THEIR key was ACTIVATED.

3. If you get the DATE when, you can provide it to eneba, and they have to ACCEPT it as an answer because THEY DON'T GOT A CHOICE, because you PAID for a product you want to use, but unable to get the product because THEY gave you a USED key, which fault is with eneba. So worse case if they STILL fight you, you can charge back, DON'T wait over 120 days, or whatever your protection plan offer by your card company, or service you're using or else they won't help you do chargeback at all.

Hope this is clear, and simple, and have a good day.
