I reset my laptop and now my steam games won't launch.
I reset my laptop last night cause I was worried it caught a virus but after redownloadimg steam and setting everything up and downloading my games back now Everytime I try to launch one of them and I do mean any of the games Ive got they load the starting game window then the screen goes black then back to my homescreen or my mouse gets a loading circle and nothing happens.(Teamfortress2 keeps asking me to allow steam client service to make changes to my device and I've said yes like 30 times should I say no at this point?) I've tried running project zomboid, tf2, spore, and yomi hustle but none of em will load. The device being used is a hp probook x360 11 g6 ee laptop. Before I did the reset it ran games pretty well for the most part. Any idea what could've happened?

Update uninstalling and reinstalling steam and each game does jack

Could be a missing video driver.
Could also be one of them fancy '.NET' games that crash if you don't have all the visual studio nonsense installed. You'll usually find the installers in the dist folder in each game's directory.
Run windows update and make sure you have the most recent version of DirectX installed(also usually in the dist folder).
I tried downloading directx but it said something about initialization failed and cancelled. And the games Ive tried to play are tf2 and project zomboid
