I'm trying to ditch linux and am trying out Bazzite Linux which comes preinstalled with steam. so far the OS seems to be doing pretty good, a little clinkier than I'm used to but hopefully will become comfortable with time. a problem I'm having is that I cannot seem to get steam to actually launch games. I've tried fallout 4 and fallout 3, both just download a couple files, do a cloud sync then the stop button switches back to play.

this could also be related to another problem I'm having with steam where it's not remembering my install folder which is on a separate drive from my OS. this arrangement has worked for me for years on windows but I find after each reboot I have to set up my storage again. I'm not sure if either of these are related but figured I'd mention for sake of completeness.
