Steam Won't Sync
One game, Chronicon, won't sync. When I turn off cloud sync in global settings and try to play this game it still tries to sync.
Verify game integrity and the same two files keep getting downloaded and the game won't sync.
The developer, Squarebit, says this is a Steam issue.
How to fix this so I can play the game?

So I fixed it.; And here's how, just in case it happens to someone else:
1. Close Steam from taskbar
2. Find game executable in Steam directory path (E:\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Chronicon\Chronicon.exe) and run the program.

Problem solved and the game now opens proper in the Steam client.

Win 10 latest updates.
Only the one game is having issues.
Cloudsync says up to date also.
If I try to play in offline mode, the same problem.
Did you restarted the client?

Did you verify game files?

Drivers up to date on OS, GPU, and Intel, from manufacturer's website where applicable.
Try this, go to where steam installed, delete everything except for steamapp folder, and steam.exe.

If you have any screenshots, and videos you wish to upload, or save, do so before deleting things.

Test, and see what happens.

Only other thing I can think of is if you're using 3rd party antivirus that messing with client, or game files, and permissions.

Test fail.
No AV.
