so this is an issue for someone? im about to buy a new PC because mine cant update to windows 11 for God's sake. i thought its just my PC.
Ive uninstalled and reinstalled steam like 5 times already
Did %localappdata% and delete steam local apps, nothing
Did run steam://flushconfig, nothing
Moved from D:// to C://, nothing

so i guess we wait now

This is not a “your PC” kind of issue. There’s lots of threads and it’s affecting machines of all kinds and Windows versions.

Yep, same thing. Played yesterday, opened Steam today and it didn’t open after updating. My brother keeps his machine on and Steam running so his Steam didn’t update and was still running fine. Definitely something in what they just released today.

So i'm not the only one who experienced this just today even though i played games on steam yesterday?

W. this fixed it
