Steam is unable to send email confirmations for steam guard codes. It's a very frustrating issue that I've been able to reproduce. Basically, when registering my new phone for the steam guard app, (I removed the authenticator already from the old phone I originally had it on) I am unable to receieve the confirmation email to my email adress.

Both of steam's emails are on the trusted senders list. I tried switching my steam email to a different @gmail adress, then an @mail adress on outlook. Both do not work as steam is still unable to send the code. It just displays a message saying "sent a confirmation code to your @gmail adress".

I have also tried disabling steam guard altogether by unchecking the "steam guard with email" and having nothing altogether. However, I am still unable to bypass this issue. Re-installing the app does not work either.

All other steam emails work fine. The requests to move or change accounts, steam deals, notices that another email has been set up...etc etc all still pop up. It's just specifically the steam guard codes that don't get sent. I belive this is an app issue.

Do you have that recovery code?
