Mods are not working - failed to update - The connection between my Steam account and the Workshop seems to be broken
Hello,

Following support instructions, I attempted several operations which unfortunately did not solve the issue, but they might help you understand where the problem could be coming from.

I discover that mods suddently didin't work when playing via Geforce now so I installed the game (physical copy) on two different computers and the issue remains the same: the mods are not active because they don’t seem to be able to update / the link with the Workshop appears to be broken in one way or another.

I reinstalled Steam several times, including changing the installation folder (c:/Steam instead of c:/Program Files (x86)/Steam).

Verified the integrity of the game files.

Tried deleting the “extension” files (located in steamapps/common) and the appmanifest_392160.acf file related to the game, then relaunched Steam: no results.

I subscribed/unsubscribed to several mods without any change. All mods are affected; none work when I install them via the Workshop subscription. However, a mod installed manually works perfectly (but is not accessible if I want to use my account on another computer or use GeForce Now).

I cleared the download cache and tried changing the download region with no results.

I tried disabling Steam Cloud for supported games before reinstalling the game.

Finally, I tried installing another game and subscribing to mods, but those also do not seem to work.

As far as I’m concerned, I think this comes from an issue with the Workshop not sending mod data to the games. Is there a way to reset the connection between my Steam account and the Workshop? Do you see any other solution?
Thank you in advance.

Can you try to get the mods from a different site? The mods from the workshop might be currently broken. See if you can get the same mods from nexus mods or some other modding site. And if you can uninstall the mods from the workshop if you can to get the mods from a different site. I believe this issue is on steams end and they have to fix it.

The other thing you could try is delete your cache and do a steam flush. Be aware if you do this, you will need your account name and password. Account name is different than profile name. I see you deleted caches already, so do the steam flush if you can.

Omg Ive been having the same issue, all the mods just stopped working this week. I've done all the recommended fixes as well but none worked. I assume this is a Steam Workshop issue overall then. :(((

Most likely. Did you try a steam config flush too?
