Can't play OST of games
Today I found myself unable to play any soundtracks I have on Steam. I know I can play them separately, however, I'd like to solve this issue.
I'm on a (silicon) Mac. I've been having issues with my music player for quite a while now. One issues is music quickly going through the music duration bar (the thing that shows how much of a track is left) without sound if a soundtrack is open for long without any music playing. But today it doesn't play at all, the bar is simply stuck in one place.
I have tried everything short of reinstalling Steam (because I don't want to do that). Are there any other solutions?

Im having the same on Mac Studio m2, none of my soundtracks playable.

I double checked on a windows machine and they were fine there.

Same here with this issue on an M4 Mac. Strangely, re-installing Steam does temporarily fix the Music Player issue. But then after quitting Steam and relaunching it the issue comes back.

I'm having this problem as well (I was trying to upload a soundtrack for one of my games - and wondering why it wasn't able to paly thinking it must be a config problem, but no I can't play any soundtracks :olut: )

This sounds like a mac issue. I suggest asking on the mac forum about this. Maybe someone there can figure it out.

Try going to Steam > Settings > Music and uncheck then re-add your music library folders — that sometimes resets it. Also, fully quit Steam (Cmd + Q)
