Unfortanetly, i do not use linux. As i said, check that link. It goes to the official steam linux forum. Someone there might be able to help you more.
Basically, steam uses a built in google chronium version as their web page interface. You can even see it on the steam deck if you have it. Not sure about this problem though. Sorry.
hehe..that is what i basically said, in a less technical way..lol. I try to be less technical to help people understand better. As my english professor always told me to do, i try to anticipate my target audience and write for them.
It happened to me today,i almost have a heart attack thinking it is a malware,may is just a WebHelper bug
i'm on windows 11 anyway
