Contractor for TF2 locks me into viewing my backpack

This started today, when I open my contractor it immediately goes into my backpack with a glitched screen showing an item to delete. Cannot get out of this screen, hit q, hit esc, try every key even f2.

Verified game files and restarted computer but the issue still happens. How can I fix this?

UI glitch in TF2. Try disabling any custom huds or mods, as they can cause issues. If that doesn’t help, delete the cfg folder in your TF2 directory to reset settings. You can also try reinstalling the game or turning off Steam Cloud for TF2. Lastly, check for any updates for both steam and windows.
