Unable to verify age with credit card

I was asked to verify my age as per the new UK regulation on the steam page using a credit card, the issue is, I don't have a credit card that is accepted by steam. The only credit card I have is an American Express one which is no longer accepted by steam and you can't use a debit card. Is there anyway around this?

Time to move to America. Jk but no nothing can do until you get credit card in UK, or open steam re-add support to American Express in the UK.

Welcome to the "UK government just shafted me" support group. Although Steam are somewhat culpable here in that they could choose other verification options, but choose not to. Ultimately it's Steam and the creators that'll lose out on revenue

What happened to Discord's verification is the exact reason why Valve chose credit card verification.
