Steam Notes has been broken for me across all games for a while now
I love using the steam notes feature, but one day it suddenly just stopped working. What I see now when I open it in the shift-tab overlay is just a blank window. The top right icons are still there, I can pin it, resize it, ect, but actual text box where you can actually write notes is just gone.

Has anyone had any problems like this? I couldn't find any other posts about this... The only thing i could think would maybe do something is turning on steam cloud sync for it, but I have no idea how to do that lol

If your Steam Notes are showing a blank window, try a few things. First, make sure Steam is up to date. Sometimes verifying game file integrity through the Steam client helps. Check if Cloud Sync is enabled for Notes by going to Steam settings and making sure it’s turned on. You can also try clearing the overlay cache by deleting the overlay folder in the Steam directory. If that doesn’t work, resetting Steam settings or even reinstalling the client might fix it.
