Any accounts you have linked to Steam must be dealt with on those account's actual pages/sizes/support.
Entertain the possibility account linking isn't managed by Steam. It's not a two way street. EA/Ubisoft/Rockstar etc aren't going to let Valve modify their user accounts or vice versa. And that's ultimately what linking is. You have to manage links from the account they were initiated from.
Well it is usually hard to get support for something that's not supported. All getting in contact with support in this instance would do would get you a sorry, "We don't do that, it's not how it works, sorry for your misunderstanding. Here's a FAQ you won't find helpful if you're stuck on the idea it's Valve's responsibility."
But not as lazy as users relying solely on assumptions.
Had the same issue not being able to find the contact but figured it out. You gotta go to Help - Steam Support - Steam Community - I need help with something not listed here. Then there should be a button to click to actually submit a ticket. Hope this helps!
There is NO information on Valve's end as to what you've linked. It's all done on every other service's end.
If you linked your Steam account to EGS that's on Epics end. Same for Discord youtube EA Ubisoft GMG etc.
Valve allows devs/pubs to have users link their accounts from their side, not Steam's side.
If you decide to link another 3rd party game account such as with epic or EA then you need to deal with them when you have issues with it as a lot don't allow multiple accounts to be linked to one steam account to prevent abuse or make it harder when people cheat in their games and then simply swap to a new account to bypass it.
If you go to your User menu you can go to the Content page. This is where your uploaded Screenshots, Artwork, Workshop items, and Videos are. Uploading a Video requires linking your YouTube account.
Do you want to unlink a YouTube account? Congratulations, this is something Steam can do.
Do you want to unlink anything else? Congratulations, what you're doing is basically the same thing as calling up the store where you bought your computer and demanding they fix a defective headset you bought off of Amazon instead of talking to the people who actually sold you the defective headset.
You need to talk to whatever support system exists for whatever system you went through when you told them you'd like to link your Steam account to their application.
For example, if you went to EA and told them you would like to link your Steam account to their EA account system, you will need to talk to EA about unlinking. If you went to Discord and told them you would like to link your Steam account to Discord so Discord will know and display your Steam account and no longer want Discord to remember your steam account, you need to go through Discord to remove that.
Steam Support can not help you with other company's systems, which is why there is no Support option for "I need help with a different company's product that Valve has no access or control over.".
No you it doesn’t sound like you do get it.
You didn’t link anything to your Steam account. The link was on a 3rd party’s account such as epic or ea. So you are linking something to your epic account for example.
Valve cannot just hack into ea or epic servers and remove that link. That would be illegal.
They cannot remove what they don’t have access to.
The same would apply if the linking was done on steam side. You would only be able to remove it from Steam. You would not be able to go to epic for example and remove it.
