win10 will end its days after 1 year extra lifetime, and we are many that think, why keep use windows system at all.

Personally i have had zero issues with win 11.
From what i understand not all games are compatible with Linux.

Nothing prevent you run a win10 VM. you already have current license.

Pros of switching to Linux:

• 90% of games work fine out of the box.[www.tomshardware.com] More if you're willing to tinker a bit. In fact, if you count older Windows titles that don't like Windows 11, I would even say more Windows games work on Linux than on modern Windows.

Cons of switching to Linux:

• If you've been using Windows, it will be unfamiliar, so you might need to relearn some things and unlearn some bad habits. Get out of a Windows mindset.
  
• Certain games with kernel-level anti-cheat won't run no matter what you do. I don't recommend switching if your ability to enjoy your computer hinges on whether or not you can play Fortnite.
  
• If you are extremely reliant on certain Windows productivity software, like Photoshop, they don't really work, though there are Linux alternatives you can use instead.
  
• Hardware compatibility is awesome, but there are some peripherals that don't work. My laptop's fingerprint scanner does not, for example. When peripherals are supported, I think it's better than Windows. My drawing tablet just works on Linux by plugging it in. On Windows I have to hunt down the right driver online.
  
• Depending on the distro, you may be given so much power and control over your system that you won't be prevented from inadvertently breaking it. I recommend an immutable distro to limit the damage you can do when tinkering. Linux purists scoff at it, but for us normies who just want a computer that works, it's awesome.

Glancing at your game library, I don't expect you would run into any real issues playing your stuff.

Bazzite[bazzite.gg] is an immutable distro that I recommend. It has a gaming focus, but it is very well suited for desktop use still.

I will tell of 1 sad thing that Steam needs to be aware of and give advice for and that is the fact my visa will no longer work to buy Premium. After 10 years of working perfect i now cant shop with FP any more. What ever tech reason that is it needs to be sorted.

Its not win 11 thats the prob mate, its the fact that 50/60% of the worlds sweet running 2 to $3000 win 10 PCs for unknown reasons are being shelved or trashed. Its an elaborate Big Business Crime That nobody is big enough to pause and investigate. Its just a pure in yer face moneygrab by the generation that inherited their Microsoft positions from Daddy.
