Help getting my already installed games swapped to my new pc

I've already tried googling, but I swapped my ssd to a new pc. Theres already 600GB of games installed on it. I had to install from scratch Steam on the new pc, so I have a new empty library. So whats the easy way to get those games recognized?

Im not seeing anything in settings.
Is it possible to cut and paste that huge folder into the new location and verify files?
or would I have to get rid of the old 600GB and just redownload from scratch too?

Why not leave them on the SSD buy a dock usb and connect it then add as a new library using the storage manager

Why not keep Steam & games together? Why not do the easy thing?

With Steam closed, move it to the new SSD first. Then, still closed, move the games into the apropriate subfolder of the new Steam folder.

Then start Steam from the new location.

To my knwledge (I've never had to try something like this), you can't add a new library that already has stuff in it. So, you need to rename your existing library out of the way first, then create a new library in Steam, exit Steam, then move the existing stuff back into that place.
