Password doesnt work, even after changing it/copy and pasting from remembered

I changed my password on the website because I couldn't log into the app. It wont let me log into the app saying check password/account name and try again. I can see the password i changed it to, it wont let me auto input it, but it still gives me that error.
YES THE INFORMATION I AM PUTTING IN HAS BEEN VERIFIED BY MY FAMILY AS THE SAME AND THAT SAME INFORMATION I AM INPUTTING LOGS ME INTO THE WEBSITE STEAM.

Well, you need two items. If you're convinced that your password is correct, then it must be an incorrect account name.

Do keep in mind that other people cannot see your account name -- it's not (usually) your profile name.
