Computer Data In Game...how turn off?
When I play a game there is info listed in the top left of the screen. I went into settings and turned off the Steam overlay, but I guess that's not what it is. Not really tech-savvy here. Help?

Steam doesn't display anything more than FPS.

If you've got other things then either your games are showing info, or you have another program doing it.
You must have nvidia or discord overlay on. You do realize those can slow down your pc?

Three possibilites:

First, you have a third party launcher on like discord that has it on.

Second, it could be from the game itself.

Third, it could be something like the xbox overlay that comes pre installed as bloatware on windows 11.

Oh...well I don't have Discord. I always see a popup saying I can turn on Vvidia overlay but i never did it so I assumed it was a Steam overlay/ Let me look into that. Thank you :)
I don't think it's the game itself as it shows up looking exactly the same in other games, too.
Ok, I do have a windows 11 overlay but that one is fine. It's the one in the upper left I want to turn off.
Well, I'm getting closer. It's a Razer Synapse overlay. Now need to figure out how to turn it off *sheesh*
Found it and turned it off. Thank you RPG Gamer Man for pointing me in the right direction :)

That's not true anymore, although you were correct it isn't related to the OP's actual issue:
