Unable to login mobile app and POE2 market website
Hello. POE uses webpage for in game market that I access with steam verification. It asked for my verification again and I choose steam. But it didn't accept my account and password.
I did a password reset on the desktop app and then tried to login, didn't work either.
So I figured I will just use the steam app and login there and then use the IRQ code to do the verification on the POE site.
I can't open the steam app with my account credentials/password either.
I used the name shown on the top of the desktop app, I used the 17 digit code and I used, what is designated in steam invoices as "account name".
Nothing works.

What I need to know is how I can absolutely be sure of what my account name is (so not profile name or accountID), to make sure I'm using the right name for the login
And if this still doesn't work how can it be fixed.

Yes that account name I use exactly and I did pw reset to make sure I have the correct password.

Now with that account name I can't access the mobile app.
or login to POE2 market website

For "Login with Steam" the safest and easiest way is to log into Steam first. If you are logged in already, a "login through Steam" from a third-party site will only ask you whether you want to use that account via a simple yes/no question. Which also eliminates scam sites, as they will be asking for username/password instead.

Still, if you can't even log into Steam, that's not going to help. Figure out what your password is...

The problem indeed is, I'm logged into steam, else I can't play anything :)
But still the POE trade site asks me to log into steam with account and password, so it doesn't automatically take my login from the steam client.
And that is when the problem starts I can't login with my credentials.
I did change my password to be sure I know the correct password but the combination of my account name and password do not let me login either in the trade site or in the steam app

You need to be already logged into steam via your browser. As POE trade is a website you open in your browser, so when you select log in with steam you should see the option as mentioned above and just select ''yes'' to use your steam account and it will auto connect you as your already logged into Steam on your browser.
