Am I being scammed?
Today I received a message from a user by the name of CyberKnightEU, who uploaded a picture of what appears to be me who bought one of his items on the marketplace that was over 1k. They claim they haven't received payment and reported me to steam, they then said that if I want to get in contact with steam support I should add a friend code to talk to the steam support agent. Part of me thinks it was a scam and I did a search to see if there was some similar scam and I found this:

Was I right or wrong about this?

It's the start of a scam. Report and block them. Also, remove their username from your OP as that's against rules. It's possible that account could have been hijacked to run the scam and the owner may be a victim as well. Either case report and block them, and again remove their username as you don't want to be dinged for breaking the rules for someone else's bad behavior. Cheers!

Edit: Also, take these additional steps as a safeguard for your account.
1. Scan for malware.
2. Deauthorize all other devices -- https://psteamproxy.yuanyoumao.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a clean computer or device.
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App as a precaution. https://psteamproxy.yuanyoumao.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke any API keys as nothing should be there. https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/dev/apikey

Like people before said it's a scam.

Never believe anyone that say they reported you whether accidentally or not and you will NEVER have to add Steam support/employees ever.

I would add that you should ignore any online stranger who gives you ultimatums or demands that you jump through hoops. Also, don't click on sketchy links, even if they come from your friends. A lot of people seem to think their under some kind of social obligation to click on every link their "friends" send them. Even though these "friends" are people they've never met.
