What does your transaction status say on steam?Is it showing as pending or failed.

Pending:
Steam still waiting for the money to clear through the banks, once it clears you get the game

Failed:
Something went wrong and the money will be returned to you usually within 3 working days.

I received the $29.99 back but then it charged $24.00 after that. The first one I think failed but the second one had went through. Where can I check my steam transaction status?

It says the card failed but also my bank provider is saying Steam has my card on hold for the transaction.

Yeah if it failed it can take a little bit for the money to be released back to your bank.
Normally within its 3 working days but in some rare cases can take anything from 7-30 days depending on which bank you use.

As to why it failed, could be a number of reasons such as not enough funds in your account, banking server issues etc...

I received the money back that had failed but I have not received the money back from the other transaction, it only shows that I have 1 transaction even though I had gotten charged for the 2nd one.

Did you say you already send steam support a ticket?

I sure did haven't heard back in 24 hours. It's my first purchase on steam. I just wanted to buy and play this game but Steam sure is giving me a hard time. And then Steam Support they usually respond pretty fast but haven't heard back from them.

Yeah can sometimes take a day or two depending on the number of tickets people have open.
