How to resume game level on new machine?
I've been playing PGA Tour 2K23 for a while now and have my player level well established. I just bought a new, faster computer and installed PGA Tour 2K23 on it, but that game wants me to start over from scratch.

How do I set up my new machine to recognize the level/achievements that I've already attained using my old machine?

Thanks in advance,
BD

Assuming the game doesnt support steam cloud, you would have to copy over the save files from your old pc and move them to your new pc.

Copy the saves over if the game does not support Steam Cloud.

I would have thought that those save files were what was being uploaded to Steam while the game was running and communicating with the "mother ship."

Any tips on where to look for the save files and what the right file extension is so I can locate them?

Thanks,
BD

OK, on a whim, I restarted the game and it recognized my level, how much in-game pseudo-cash I have accumulated, and how many tournaments I have participated in this "season." Cool. But what didn't carry over is any of the clothing or equipment personalization I had done to my player, my player's name, or even the fact that I'm not a brand new rookie just starting out.

It's like some of the data carried over, but not all. Hmmm.

Maybe I'll try starting it up again and it will recover the rest of the stored data.....

You could ask the develepors to have steam cloud support, but it sounds like it has a good save system.
