Steam games 'not installed' despite being installed (edit: fixed)
Update: **Fixed it by clicking install on the 'missing games' and it validated them and now recognizes them!**

Yesterday all was fine, but today I launched steam to see that ALL of my games weren't installed. I panicked at first, but then checked the file location. I noticed they were IN FACT there. And that everything works as it should upon Launching the game from the .exe file. However trying to launch via steam it asks me to install said games. The drive is the right one that's in the storage settings on steam. I don't understand what happened. I tried 'repair library' too. And there's no menu that allows me to 'verify' the files since they seem to be 'not installed'. Anyone else having issues like this?

Steam -> Settings -> Storage. Make sure the game installation folder is there.

Also even if it asks where to install just point it to already existing installation, it will find existing files and verify them
Yep, did that, and it was the right one. SO on a whim, I clicked download on a bigger file to see what would happen. IT validated it, and it only took a cpl mins. Wierd stuff. But I suppose now.. It's fixed!
Only when I dont use the eject on my USB drive before exiting Steam. USB always disonnect then has to be connected again which can take a couple minutes depending how many games.
I dont have a usb drive
