Removing 'Curse Episode 1'
I was looking at a list of total conversion mods for Half-Life2 and settled on Curse. I downloaded it from ModDB, and ran the file it downloaded. This created the item in my Steam library, but when I try to play it, it says 'launching' for a few frames, then goes back to 'Play'.

I figured 'okay, this thing is very old, I guess it doesn't work any more'. When I attempt to uninstall it, I get the window to confirm that I want to uninstall it, I click Yes and it does nothing. Anyone know how I can remove this thing from my computer and library?

rename all to that folder name game to .old , reinstall game again to see if this is the way untill you learn what files it is with new install compare vs old.


mod issue is the problem special conversion, we have no clue what files has been added or replaaced, technical converting game witha mod is not even game support issue.

i have nothing agaienst converting games mod, but when users forget content is not original anymore only wipe or reinstall can fix this.


example total war shogun2 expaning or land or territories, can have impact on saved campaign and cant be removed until campaign is over or you undo it.
