Did not receive refund. Steam and my bank putting me in a loop.
Greetings,

Bought a game on the 31st of October (part was taken from Steam wallet, the rest paid via iDeal). I can see that the amount was taken from my account.

Requested a refund and it was approved. I did receive the wallet part, but not the other part.

Contacted Steam but they gave an auto reply to contact the bank and closed the ticket.

Contacted the bank and they said that Steam must start the investigation.

Contacted Steam again with screenshots of my conversation with the bank and all of my transactions with Valve. They gave the same reply and closed the ticket.

Any ideas?

iDeal basically means the payment was done directly with the bank. No credit card or whatsoever.

It can take up to 30 days.

When a refund request is approved within 24 hours of the purchase, the original transaction is cancelled. In many cases it takes up to 30 days for your bank to confirm that Steam never received the funds in the first place. Once confirmed, your bank will release the hold and remove the charge from your bank statement. Please Note: When a transaction is cancelled, you will not see a credit on your account.
