Just bought a game and the purchase went through but it still says purchase pending and isn’t in my library
I’m having trouble with purchasing Cyberpunk 2077. I bought the game and the Steam store froze. When I ended up closing a reloading it, it says the purchase is pending in my purchase history but the bank says they’ve already withdrawn the money but the game is nowhere to be found. Any help would be appreciated.

What does your purchase history say?
If it says pending, then you need to wait for it to say complete or failed.
When it completes, you will gain access to the game.
If it fails the money will be returned to you after few days (banks are a pain like that).

I have a similar issue, I just now bought an item in TF2 with my Steam wallet, the money has been withdrawn but I didnt receive the item

Update: the purchase did not go through. So I’m trying to repurchase it. The bank still says the purchase went through and they took the money out. Also, the store has the Working… under it and won’t let me repurchase the game.
I have a Problem too with a Game Purchase... when i want to Pay with Paypal it says that there is a Initialisation Error and i should try later. Seems there is something broken in the Background

It sounds like your purchase got stuck in a "pending" state. Don't worry—this sometimes happens due to delays in Steam's payment processing. Here’s what you can do:

1. Check Your Purchase History
Go to Steam → Account Details → View Purchase History
If the transaction is still marked as "Pending," Steam may still be processing the payment. Most pending transactions clear within a few hours, but it can take up to 24 hours.
2. Restart Steam & Check Your Library
Completely close Steam and reopen it.
Check your Library (make sure you're not filtering out uninstalled games).
3. Verify Payment with Your Bank
Since your bank already processed the payment, confirm that the transaction isn't marked as "held" or "pending."
Sometimes banks temporarily hold funds before the payment fully goes through.
4. Wait a Few Hours
If it's still pending after 24 hours, Steam will likely automatically cancel the transaction and refund your money.
5. Contact Steam Support
If the game doesn’t appear in your library and the payment isn’t refunded after 24 hours, go to Steam Support and submit a ticket under:

No they have Server Problems right now its 100% a steam server problem.

Just a heads-up,transactions may be working again. As,I just went on here to check on what to do,because I kept getting a "Pending Transaction" error. Even though,my last transaction was 2 days ago until this 1,just now,that I was attempting...

So,anyone else having trouble lately,should try again now. As,it seems to be working normally,again...

i feel like in 2025 there is no excuse for steams payment system not to process your payment instantly like literally every single competitor on the market...it takes hours for me every time to receive a game that is so annoying and should be fixed lol i needed to rant about that because its so unnecessary

That because issue on either bank, or Steam end. There a timing if that timing missed, they try again later, until Steam system cancels payment which bank has to update on their end either showing payment been return, or they delete that statement as if it never happen.
