Cyber cafe account to personal account

Hi

My question is if it's possible to change my type of account to a personal one because i want to buy new games and trade items on steam and i cant do it.

This account was to time an cybercafe account that is closed for many years.
For that reason i want to know what i have to do and if you can help me solve this issue.

I have already created a ticket and the answer was that:

Thank you for contacting Steam Support.

To enable Steam Guard please do the following:

Click on 'Steam' in the upper left, then select 'Settings' ('Preferences' for the MAC client).

Select 'Manage Steam Guard Account Security'

Choose 'Enable Steam Guard'

the account belongs to the cafe, not to you, create your own account.

And the cyber in the one I was working no longer exists for a while already ... and I would then change type of account because it no longer serves a lot and make it mine for personal use ...

That cyber cafe account is still not yours even if the business no longer exists. All Steam accounts are non-transferable.

Ah, I see... you bought the business iself, right? In that case, your question should be "I have this spare cybercafe account that the business no longer needs. How do I change it to a personal account for my own personal, private use?"

And the answer would still be... you don't. That account belongs to the business and not to you personally, even if you're the business owner. Accounts are strictly non-transferable and there's no way to do what you're trying to do.

Its possible to you to keep the same account but its gonna be wiped and you have to buy the games again. I had the same issue.

Are there anychanges? I have the same problem, I am a gaming center owner and I got few Cyber Cafe accounts. Would really like them to be like the personal once. Is there still thing that we can do?

1) why are you spamming a 10 year old topic

2) steam has not recommended cyber cafe specific accounts since forever

3) use the discussions for cybercafes not the one for users
