How can i set a family account pin?
I want to set a pin to access something on my steam, but I can't because i can't find the feature of doing so, but in some tutorials i have seen people doing that. I found a video that was uploaded a month ago, and they were able to set the pin, but i can't for some reason. Please help me if somebody knows how to!

Does your account belong to a family group?

I believe the Steam "PIN-protected Family View" may be obsolete and no longer available:

Update: Family View has been replaced by Steam Families' parental controls.

If you create a Steam Family and add a child account, any existing Family View settings associated with that account will be transferred to Steam Families under Parental Controls. The PIN will be removed, but the settings are otherwise untouched.

Steam family feature were always sh**ty... Why remove required feature and replace with unrelated.
1. "pin" Limits your own account and is required. If you let kids play on your own pc, under your account. Removed without any reason.
2. "family" allows sharing. Good idea. But also implemented as sh**t.
As I can not add games I want to share. I can only add all games that "allow sharing". (like I don't have other ways to allow family member to play... stupid) and have to exclude/hide games I don't want to share...
Instead of having simple UI or group to share/unshare...

P.S. Also why are hidden games getting into recently played list... What's the point of hiding?

Hidden only hides it from you when looking at your library. Your profile isn't your library.

Marking it Private hides it from others when viewing your profile/games.

Hiding hides the game from your Library. Private hides it from everybody except yourself.
