I have a strange issue with my PS5 controller when playing games on Steam. This happens with all games so its not game specific.

When connected via bluetooth everything is fine up until the controller's battery dies. When the controller dies the character doesn't simply stop moving. In fact the whole game is stuck on a single directional input - it even affects the menus. Switching to keyboard & mouse does not do anything to stop it. I have to completely close the game in Windows in order to get it to stop.

I have no idea how to stop this from happening outside of keeping my controller always wired to the PC which isn't ideal. Anyone have this issue and/or know how to fix it?
