Is the DS4 wired or is it connected via bluetooth?

I found the problem, it's probbly a hardware problem, whenever i press X it also presses the PS button, if Steam Input is on, it just doesn't let me hold the button. weird.

Could be, though it would be surprising. DS4s are extremely sturdy. If you're wiring the controller, try swapping out the USB cable first. DS4s are extremely susceptible to malfunctions due to wire faults that would normally be compensated for by other hardware, and USB Micro A is extremely susceptible to connection interruption from wiggle caused by otherwise undetected flattening of its locking teeth.

For context, I have used DS4s exclusively since the PS4 came out, and have become infuriatingly aware of this shortcoming.

I'm using it bluetooth, since when i try to use it wired it doesnt work for some reason, but i'm 99% sure it's a hardware problem

Have you tested it on a testing program? I believe steam has one in it you can test your controller on. Windows also has one too you can test controller buttons on to test for dead spots and such.One time i found my controller did not work. Turns out one of the buttons was stuck on, but was not stuck in. I reset the controller and it seemed to fix it. If your controller has a factory reset, you could try that and see if it fixes the issue.
