One workshop constantly being stuck in pending for 8-12 hours
Hey all,

Not sure if there's any other workshop mod creators here who has this issue

I have around 25ish mods that I've created for Bellwright, but one mod, for some reason, whenever I update it, whether it's the mod itself, the description or the visbility, goes into hidden status while Steam checks for issues

This happens with every mod and only lasts, at most, 10 minutes
But with this mod, which is a very small one, it gets stuck in this status for roughly 6 to 12 hours, every time I make any change to it.

I can't make any changes or additions to it when it's in this stage and because it's a work in progress, every update means I have to wait nearly half a freaking day before I can push the latest changes to it.

Huh? This is for the steam workshop, the mod system, not a purchase.

sorry thats a DL issue then. or mod change something.

i have seen old mods have to have a wipe of past mods before new can be used.


You need to as a example ,enter game leave zone or turn off setting if such is there then exit game then wipe mod and user mod setting for that old mod. or try start game without if you even can that. ( make new save ) then exit, and DL it again.

Ys it's complicated depend on what game we talk about, ESO and other games like that can have leftovers that effect game to clean past game mod can be even harder then it's same mod that don't accept old values.

+ steam glitch server after tuesday mantainence day is always possilbe. ( most bugs get notice within next 24hours. )

ps,
we are only steam user here, but we are not creator all of us,
and we have also seen upload content issue before.


ps.
make sure you don't have bad packets ( network issue into steam ) so you geta DC for it , i doubt its this.

just a steam server glitch i bet, and that why you test for own connection issue with it.

It's not a glitch.

It's not a server issue.

The automated analysis can take ages on both guides and workshop items.

For 8 12 hours, thats bad even for steam procedur.

There is a post with a steam user mentiojn DDOS attack, sould be related to get dropped by server. ( server that enter defence mode can do alot of selfprotections procedur. )

Yeah you need to be a creator to know this, most is just a DL mod user and thats not same also why how big it is, can effect this. ( its years ago i have seen conversion mod of a game i bet such could take a very long time. )

Just seems odd it only affects one of my mods
I've uploaded another new mod earlier today and made tweaks, it wasn't stuck in the approval process at all.
Sad thing is, I can't even delete the one causing the problem, it just refreshes and doesn't delete.
Might just end up recreating it and trying again

I know you're trying to be helpful but you're being the opposite.
Nothing you've posted has any relevance to the issue.

gl with waiting then, or ask steam support.

No user here can help you then you have stock issue and you will not test other solutions if this is your pc with your files issue.
( we do not controll steam server that between you and steam )

just like the other mods upload you did. therer is no diffrence, other then that one has a issue.

ask steam support, you have no clue in other possibilites in faulthy finding.

You seek a one button fix there is no such thing.
